Location: Windsor, CT
Position Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- In-person only
- Schedule: 8:20 AM – 3:40 PM
- Contract: May 2026 – October 2026 (no summer work)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated educator to support students in a Social Emotional Behavior (SEB) classroom for grades 3-5. This role focuses on creating a structured, supportive environment that promotes positive behavior, emotional regulation, and academic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction tailored to students with social-emotional and behavioral needs
- Implement behavior intervention strategies and supports
- Foster a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with staff, specialists, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working with elementary students (grades 3-5 preferred)
- Strong classroom management and behavior support skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
