Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) in Louisiana
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in Early Childhood and Elementary settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous school-based therapy experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with a range of disabilities and ability to adapt services
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy to students with varying needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive educational strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
