As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll serve as a key link between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance partners. Your knowledge, empathy, and attention to detail will help ensure patients receive the medical equipment and supplies they need to live safely and comfortably at home.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Process orders for home medical equipment and supplies
- Communicate with physicians, insurance companies, and internal teams to coordinate care
- Verify insurance benefits and secure required prior authorizations
- Enter and maintain accurate patient and order information
- Deliver exceptional service in person and by phone
- Represent ProCare with professionalism, compassion, and responsiveness

Preferred Background
- Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations
- Knowledge of medical billing (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care)
- Previous work in a healthcare or medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Strong phone presence and interpersonal skills (required)
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM; 10-key by touch preferred
- Two years of DME/HME or healthcare experience preferred
- Proficiency with computers and data entry
