Major Responsibilities
- Set up, start, and operate production machinery according to work instructions
- Load raw materials or parts into machines and ensure proper alignment
- Monitor machine operation to ensure products meet quality and production standards
- Inspect finished products for defects and remove non-conforming items
- Adjust machine settings to maintain proper speed, temperature, pressure, or alignment
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and basic adjustments
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to maintenance or supervisors
- Record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and defects
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with supervisors and team members about production status or issues
- Meet daily production targets and efficiency goals
