In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring lamination equipment to produce laminated film that meets production, quality, and food safety standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring proper adhesion, film integrity, and compliance with safety, GMP, and SQF requirements in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
- Set up, operate, and adjust lamination equipment to meet production and quality standards
- Load, unload, and stage film, adhesive rolls, and materials
- Monitor adhesive application, film tension, and machine performance during production
- Perform quality checks including measurements, coat weight, and mix ratio verification
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and computer logs
- Identify and properly dispose of contaminated adhesives or solvents per documented procedures
- Handle hazardous and universal waste and complete required Haz‑Mat training
- Follow GMP, SQF, OSHA, PPE, and food safety requirements
- Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Ability to read a measuring tape
- Strong desire to learn and grow within manufacturing
- Ability to read, write, and follow simple, clear instructions
- Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments as needed
- Ability to monitor equipment and proactively identify quality or production issues
- Ability to exert 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly
