When Your Actions Lead to Success
- Load and unload rolls and cores using an electronic cart and roll manipulator
- Operate the slitter machine to ensure high‑quality, properly slit film
- Inspect product quality throughout the run and remove any defective material
- Bag and palletize finished rolls according to SQF procedures
- Read and interpret spec sheets and designs to set up the machine accurately
- Adjust machine tension to prevent wrinkles and ensure proper cutting
- Complete laser and material setup as required by the specification
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to GMP and SQF standards
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Previous machine‑operation experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced setting and adapting to changing priorities
- Exposure to inks and solvents, which may create strong odors in the plant
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
- Must comply with all GMPs, SQF programs, and food‑safety requirements
- Participation in cleaning, inspection, and compliance tasks as assigned
