We are currently searching for an experienced Forklift Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to work in a collaborative culture. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing Raymond, Hyster, Cat, and Toyota Forklifts. Electric or LP. Along with other material handling equipment Such as Scissor Lifts, and Articulating lifts and Jungheinrich electric pallet Jacks within a fast-paced manufacturing operation. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and resolve equipment issues, and ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently. You work independently as the primary on-site technician while collaborating with a broader maintenance team and leadership to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
Outstanding Benefits
At least 2 years of experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electric or LP-powered material handling equipment, including forklifts
Hands-on experience with forklift repair and preventative maintenance
Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and fuel systems on forklifts and heavy equipment
High school Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Current Technician Certifications Preferred Such As
ASE T Series (Medium/Heavy Truck)
ASE A6 - Electrical/Electronic Systems
ASE A7 - Heating & Air Conditioning (if applicable)
ASE A8 - Engine Performance
ASE G1 - Maintenance & Light Repair
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Experience In The Following But Not Limited To
Hydraulic system diagnostics
Electric forklift troubleshooting (24V, 36V, 48V, 80V systems)
AC drive motors and controllers
Curtis, ZAPI, or Sevcon motor controllers
CAN bus diagnostics
Lift cylinder rebuilding
Mast chain replacement and adjustment
Brake systems
Differential and transmission repair
Bearing replacement
Preventive maintenance programs
Diagnostic software and laptops
Reading electrical schematics
Multimeter and oscilloscope use
Written, English language communication skills necessary to write routine correspondence, maintenance logs and order forms
Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office Suite
Flexibility in work schedule
Working knowledge of diesel, gas, and electric mechanics
Targeted pay range: USD$21-$34

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on Raymond, Hyster, Cat, and Toyota Forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Complete fluid changes, including engine oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, and differential lubricants.
- Replace filters, belts, spark plugs, ignition components, and other wear items as needed.
- Conduct tune-ups, brake adjustments, steering repairs, and basic drivetrain maintenance.
- Inspect, maintain, and service industrial batteries, including watering, removal, installation, and minor repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and fuel system issues on forklifts and heavy equipment.
- Perform detailed equipment inspections to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
- Replace and repair components such as tires, lights, horns, forks, attachments, and other equipment parts.
- Complete touch-up painting and cosmetic repairs when required to maintain equipment appearance and usability.
- Diagnose equipment issues accurately and recommend effective, timely repair solutions.
- Use diagnostic tools and wiring schematics to identify and resolve electrical and control system problems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and documentation in line with company standards.
- Interpret service manuals, repair procedures, and technical documentation to perform correct repairs.
- Support senior technicians and collaborate with maintenance leadership to prioritize and schedule work.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain productivity targets while delivering high-quality service and minimizing equipment downtime.
- Communicate clearly with operations and warehouse personnel regarding equipment status and repair timelines.
- Provide professional, customer-focused service to internal stakeholders. Use and maintain personal hand tools and keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Travel occasionally to other locations as business needs require to support maintenance activities.
