Role Overview
ProAg is seeking a strategic, collaborative Systems Trainer to join our team and play a key role in strengthening operational performance across the organization. In this role, you’ll partner closely with stakeholders throughout operations, sales, and other internal departments to design, develop, and deliver training programs that support product launches, system enhancements, and ongoing business needs. Your work will directly influence system adoption, user confidence, and organizational effectiveness.
As a trusted training expert, you will create learning materials, facilitate both in‑person and virtual training sessions, support new and existing customers on key systems, and ensure that training initiatives align with business goals. This role requires strong communication skills, instructional agility, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This position may report to any of ProAg’s offices but can be fully remote as well. Dependent on location, travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

The pay range for this position is $62,200 - $125,500, which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. In This Exciting Opportunity, You Will
- Leverage problem-solving skills to ensure training delivers on intent and maintain key documentation
- Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of commitments and work as a team member with operations, sales, and other internal departments
- Identify ways to improve and streamline the training process
- Prepare/modify the delivery setting to ensure the environment is conducive to learning
- Facilitate classroom and virtual learning aligned with learning materials
- Apply training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate to the audience and topic
- Modify instructional strategies as needed during delivery to achieve learning goals
- Provide post-session follow-up and learner support as needed to enable learning transfer
- Execute two or more learning delivery projects simultaneously
- Manage logistics and scheduling for virtual and traditional classroom learning
- Oversee learning program announcements, preparation, and launch
- Monitor enrollments, maintain waitlists, and record completions/no-shows/scores through the LMS to conduct ongoing research and analyze how each system can best benefit internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing from a sales perspective, provide timely feedback and positive potential solutions on issues and results
- Lead demonstrations of systems and processes
- Ability to identify gaps in project portfolios and determine and recommend a course of action to be taken utilizing ProAg’s process Perform frequent checks for learner understanding
- Act as a gatekeeper for Sales and provide troubleshooting assistance for both internal and external users of ProAg system platforms and see problems through to resolution
- Approximately 5 years of Systems Training experience
- Experience working in the Crop Insurance Industry
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver content
- Fantastic ability to communicate issues and recommendations effectively to stakeholders
