In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee a regional team responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent claims processing across all offices. You’ll evaluate performance, identify training needs, and guide staff development to strengthen both productivity and quality.
You’ll also play a hands‑on role in supporting growers and agents and ensuring clear, professional communication throughout the entire claims process. Collaboration is key: you’ll partner with leadership and product specialists to improve processes, align procedures, and enhance customer experience.
We’re seeking a strong, people‑focused leader with deep industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building high‑performing teams.
This position will be in ProAg’s Lenexa, Kansas office. Employees report to the office Monday – Thursday, with Friday being an optional remote day.

Pay Transparency
The pay range for this position is $77,800 - $151,400 , which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the entire range based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level. In This Exciting Opportunity, You Will
- Ensure consistence, accurate MPCI claims processing across all regions of the US
- Communicate and enforce company-wide claims policies and procedures
- Serve as a key contact for claims-related questions or issues, building and maintaining internal and external customers satisfaction
- Support policyholders through clear, timely communication during the claims process
- Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with corporate policies
- Lead, coach, and develop claims processing staff, evaluating staff performance and delivering training to improve productivity and efficiency
- Training and educate staff on ProAg’s products, programs, policies, and systems
- 6 years of significant, relevant, and progressive professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading and transforming teams
- Professional experience working within the Crop Insurance Industry
- Strong organizational and tactical skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
