Our electronic product client is hiring a Sales Engineer who serves as a technical sales resource, working closely with customers and internal teams to develop and deliver engineered solutions that meet complex application requirements.
This role supports the sales process by providing product expertise, evaluating customer specifications, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure successful project execution. The Sales Engineer bridges engineering and sales to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for customers throughout the sales cycle
- Analyze customer requirements, specifications, and applications to recommend appropriate product solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to develop custom solutions and proposals
- Prepare and present technical proposals, product capabilities, and application solutions to customers
- Support quoting process by defining technical scope, materials, and manufacturing feasibility
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and design discussions to ensure alignment on requirements
- Provide ongoing technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and product guidance
- Assist Sales team in identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and customer transitions from concept to production
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range $85,000 - $115,000 (depending on experience)
- 10% bonus based on company performance
