- Have at least three or more year of experience with heavy equipment.
- Have worked in a shop for more than 5 years as a as a diesel mechanic.
- Must have 5 years experience with Dealer Level Training in Paccar, Cummins and or Detroit
- Proficient in using computer systems & applications to accomplish daily tasks
- 5 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
- Ability to perform PM inspections and repairs on heavy duty trucks, transmissions, Hydraulics, brakes, Electrical and Diesel Emissions.
- A base salary DOE at $75,000-85,000
- Analyzing and diagnosing (troubleshooting) equipment malfunctions or failures
- Performing preventative maintenance, inspection, and correction of major and minor repairs on various equipment (with occasional welding & fabrication).
- Executing essential repairs on gas and diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brakes, hydraulic systems, suspensions, steering, fuel systems.
- Completing Federal DOT inspections on commercial vehicles
