SMALL ENGINE PARTS SPECIALIST

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive, ambitious, dynamic and detail-oriented Small Engine Parts Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts and supporting all small engine part operations to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional customer satisfaction. Your expertise knowledge in supply chain management, supplier relations and small engine diagnostics will be vital in maintaining optimal parts availability and operational efficiency. Duties

• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct small engine parts, utilizing strong communication skills and product knowledge
• Manage inventory control through accurate stock tracking, ordering, and replenishment using inventory management systems.
• Handle sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing excellent cashiering and customer service
• Maintain organized stock shelves, ensure proper stocking procedures, and conduct regular inventory audits to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Engage in upselling and marketing efforts to promote relevant products, enhancing retail sales and dealership growth
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, order processing, and sales reporting
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers via phone etiquette, ensuring clear understanding of product details or service options
• Uphold safety standards during maintenance activities, ensuring a secure working environment for all team members
• Proven experience in dealership with small engine or dealership experience to understand industry standards and customer expectations
• Strong knowledge of small engine diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control efficiently
• Familiarity with POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and retail math principles
• Effective negotiation skills to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
• Outstanding communication skills paired with phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or in person
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for retail math and inventory management purposes
• Experience with stock stocking procedures, order fulfillment processes, and cashiering responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
