Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct small engine parts, utilizing strong communication skills and product knowledge
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock tracking, ordering, and replenishment using inventory management systems.
- Handle sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing excellent cashiering and customer service
- Maintain organized stock shelves, ensure proper stocking procedures, and conduct regular inventory audits to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Engage in upselling and marketing efforts to promote relevant products, enhancing retail sales and dealership growth
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, order processing, and sales reporting
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers via phone etiquette, ensuring clear understanding of product details or service options
- Uphold safety standards during maintenance activities, ensuring a secure working environment for all team members
- Proven experience in dealership with small engine or dealership experience to understand industry standards and customer expectations
- Strong knowledge of small engine diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and retail math principles
- Effective negotiation skills to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
- Outstanding communication skills paired with phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or in person
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for retail math and inventory management purposes
- Experience with stock stocking procedures, order fulfillment processes, and cashiering responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
