Job Summary
A behavioral health company is seeking a VP of Finance to lead day-to-day accounting operations while owning financial strategy, planning, and analytics across a complex, multi-entity healthcare organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership and works cross-functionally to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, including general ledger, AP, close process, and financial controls
• Partner closely with billing and payroll teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment across core financial processes
• Lead cash management, liquidity planning, and oversight of loans and debt structures
• Own financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A across the organization
• Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on company-wide planning and decision-making
• Analyze financial and operational trends across markets, including cost structures, margins, payer mix, client acquisition, retention, and churn
• Analyze patient and therapist hours to assess productivity, utilization, and profitability by market
• Develop clear financial reporting and insights to support scalable growth and performance optimization
Requirements
• Strong fundamental accounting and finance background with senior-level leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience overseeing accounting operations, AP, close, and multi-entity financial structures
• Significant experience in private accounting environments with broad oversight and hands-on ownership strongly preferred
• Healthcare and behavioral health experience preferred
• Analytical, strategic mindset with experience in FP&A, financial modeling, and strategic financial analysis preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present clearly to executive leadership and work effectively across departments
• Proven leadership ability with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
• Self-starter and problem solver who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
