Divisional COO
Chicago, IL / Lakewood, NJ (Open to Hybrid for the Right Candidate)
$225K - $275K Bonus
A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Divisional COO to lead and scale a large operational division within the business. This executive will be responsible for operational strategy, execution, organizational leadership, client relationships, infrastructure development, and overall divisional performance.
This role is ideal for a highly strategic and operationally strong leader who can build structure, drive accountability, manage complex teams, and help lead a fast-growing organization through its next phase of scale.
Responsibilities:
- Lead overall divisional operations, strategy, and execution
- Drive organizational scalability, operational infrastructure, and process improvement initiatives
- Own divisional P&L performance, forecasting, budgeting, and financial accountability
- Build KPI-driven operational management systems and performance accountability across teams
- Partner closely with executive leadership on growth initiatives, strategic planning, and operational priorities
- Oversee large cross-functional teams while developing leadership structure and organizational processes
- Serve as a senior client-facing leader and maintain strong executive-level relationships
- Lead operational execution across multiple departments, initiatives, and priorities simultaneously
- Develop scalable workflows, operational discipline, and reporting structures to support continued growth
- Present operational and financial performance updates to executive leadership, ownership, and board-level stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role such as COO, Divisional COO, General Manager, VP of Operations, or similar
- Strong strategic leadership, execution, project management, and organizational management abilities
- Experience operating within sophisticated corporate environments with strong reporting structures, executive accountability, and board-level interaction
- Experience owning or managing P&L performance within a complex or high-growth organization
- Experience working within private equity-backed and/or high-growth environments strongly preferred
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and execution across teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills
- Strong understanding of healthcare and/or Skilled Nursing operations preferred
- Revenue Cycle Management experience is a strong plus, but not required
- Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Ability to effectively lead and operate within teams and workforce environments heavily comprised of members of the Orthodox Jewish community, including strong understanding of community dynamics, communication styles, and organizational culture
