Controller
Location: Staten Island, NY - 4 days/week in office
Salary: $100k - $150k
A healthcare company is seeking an Assistant Controller to work closely with the Director of Finance and support accounting, reporting, and financial management functions.
This is a hands-on role with exposure across monthly financials, AP oversight, reporting, analytics, and process improvement.
Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day accounting and financial management

Prepare monthly financial statements and internal reports

Oversee AP processes and support accuracy, timeliness, and controls

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis

Prepare reporting and analytics for leadership

Help improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls

Work closely with the Director of Finance on finance and accounting projects
Requirements

CPA preferred
-
Public accounting background preferred, but not required

Controller, Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar accounting experience

Healthcare experience preferred

Strong accounting foundation and attention to detail

Strong work ethic with a high level of ownership

Able to think independently, use sound judgment, and take initiative

Comfortable working hands-on and taking responsibility beyond a narrow accounting function
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
