Job Title: Estimator – Structural and Miscellaneous Steel
Minimum Years Experience: 5 years
Travel: 10%
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $90k-$140k
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed material takeoffs for new projects including but not limited to:
▪ Structural Steel
▪ Joists, Metal Decking, and Grating
▪ Stairs and Railings
▪ Other Misc. Steel
- Prepare complete estimates including material quantities, labor hours and erection costs, logistics, etc.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Fabricators for Project Handoffs
- Communicate/Coordinate with clients to service their needs during preconstruction processes
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience estimating
- 5 years of experience in Steel Construction
- Strong understanding of AISC Codes, fabrication processes, erection sequences, standard construction practices, and Architectural/Structural Drawing Sets.
- Strong understanding/capability to adapt to current market and vendor pricing data.
- Proficiency in the following programs:
• Bluebeam
• Tekla/EPM
• Microsoft Office Products
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to service and assist new and existing clients.
- Ability to travel to new potential jobsite locations within our range of work (NY, NJ, CT, PA)
- - Client List not required but highly desirable
Salary : $90,000 - $140,000
