Lead Industrial Painter

We are seeking a Lead Industrial Painter. This is a full- time position with a local facility focusing on metal fabrication. The job consists of Industrial painting utilizing a pressure pot system. You will be the go- to Painter and be expected to lead other members of the paint team in meeting production deadlines. Candidates must have at least 5 years of Industrial type experience. • Pay: $30-32 based on experience and shift differential
• Health insurance available after 90 days of employment
• PTO is offered during first 30 days of employment
• Schedule: Monday - Friday working 8- 10 hours per day and some Saturdays

Requirements

Job Duties of Lead Industrial Painter:

• Lead a paint team and adhere to production deadlines
• Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings to surfaces in accordance with specifications
• Operate and maintain spray guns, pressure pots, and other painting equipment
• Inspect finished work to ensure high-quality standards and correct any defects
• Follow safety protocols including proper use of PPE and ventilation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or other technical documents
• Assist with routine maintenance of painting equipment and tools
  
  

Job Requirements for Lead Industrial Painter:

• Pass a paint test
• Experience with a pressure pot system
• High school diploma or GED required
• 5 years of experience in industrial painting or a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with different types of coatings and surface preparation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations related to painting and coatings
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
