We are seeking a Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wears multiple hats, and takes a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance and fit.
This role is based on-site in Boca Raton, FL, with occasional flexibility. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and a small IT team to gather requirements, drive solutions, and bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements across multiple functional areas
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and user stories
- Collaborate with a small IT team to support solution design, testing, and implementation
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT to ensure alignment and clear communication
- Drive process mapping, workflow improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Lead UAT, validation, and post-implementation support efforts
- Help prioritize initiatives based on business impact and resource constraints
- Own documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in lean teams
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Comfortable working closely with technical teams (developers, infrastructure, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with project/task management tools (e.g., Microsoft Planner) and collaboration platforms such as GitHub Enterprise
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Available to start on a contract basis with openness to converting to full-time employment
