Job Overview
We are a professional drug testing facility providing drug and alcohol testing, workplace compliance services, and mobile/on-site testing services for employers throughout California. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Drug Testing Technician to join our team. The Drug Testing Technician performs specimen collections and occupational health screening services while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and travel to client locations to perform mobile testing services when needed.
Essential Functions Drug & Alcohol Testing
- Conduct specimen collections in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Perform alcohol screening and testing services.
- Complete chain-of-custody documentation accurately.
- Prepare specimens for shipment to designated laboratories.
- Maintain specimen integrity and confidentiality throughout the collection process.
Occupational Health Testing
- Conduct respirator fit testing.
- Perform pulmonary function testing.
- Conduct audiometric testing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Mobile & On-Site Services
- Travel to client locations to perform on-site testing and screening services.
- Transport testing supplies and equipment as needed.
- Set up and break down testing stations at client locations.
- Provide professional customer service while representing the company.
Administrative Duties
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Enter testing information into electronic systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client and employee information.
- Assist with inventory management and supply organization.
- Support scheduling and customer service functions as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- DOT Urine Specimen Collector certification.
- Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) certification.
Requirements
- Valid California driver's license and an acceptable driving record, as driving is an essential function of this position.
- Ability to travel to client locations.
- Ability to safely move, transport, and set up testing equipment and supplies.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in drug and alcohol testing, occupational health, healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience performing occupational health screenings.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
