What are the responsibilities and job description for the AS9100 Auditor @ Detroit, MI (1099 Contractor) position at Pro QC International?
Responsibilities:
Project Duration:
- Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
- Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
- Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the AS9100 requirements.
- Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
- 3 years' experience as an AS9100 Auditor
- Extensive experience in aerospace quality management systems (AQMS);
- Must hold specialized certifications (AS9100), possess in-depth knowledge of FAA/EASA standards, and conduct audits, ensuring compliance through objective evidence.
- A minimum of four years of full-time experience in the aerospace industry, directly involved in engineering, manufacturing, or quality assurance.
- Deep understanding of the AS9100D standards, including risk-based thinking, process approaches, and specific aerospace requirements.
Project Duration:
- CURRENT PROJECT: 2-3 days (current assignment)
