Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our cleaning team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and quality standards for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Train new staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
- Address guest or staff concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, floor care, and janitorial procedures.
- Collaborate with management to develop operational policies and improve overall service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, floor care, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting.
- Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality management is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and housekeeper management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications in cleaning or hospitality management are a plus but not required.
