We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and high-quality service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols for various areas including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed while adhering to budget constraints.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hospitality environment.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inspections, and inventory logs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial practices, and floor care maintenance.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving high standards of cleanliness.
