Job Overview

As our Controller, you'll play a key role in shaping MAC's financial strategy, ensuring accuracy and transparency across all divisions, and supporting our leadership team with insights that drive smart decisions. You'll work closely with our operations, project management, and executive teams to keep us aligned and moving forward.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Overseeing all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, and payroll
- Leading month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparing financial statements and reports for leadership
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial systems and processes
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5 years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting role
- Strong understanding of construction accounting and job costing
- Experience with Paylocity, Vista, or similar platforms is a plus
- Someone who's organized, detail-oriented, and a great communicator
