Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the efficient movement of goods to and from our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed truck route driving to deliver and pick up goods.
- Able to operate a forklift.
- Load and unload products efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Move inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and storage.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, ensuring that all items are handled safely and securely.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including any necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with sales staff to ensure timely processing of shipments.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety, equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and commercial driving is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record a must.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing inventory.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work shift beginning at 8:00 a.m. and generally ending by 5:00 p.m.
