We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and motivated Medical Biller to become an important part of our physical therapy team. In this role, you’ll help keep our billing process accurate and efficient while also helping create a welcoming and positive experience for our patients. You’ll communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies, solve billing concerns, and help our office stay organized and running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who is not only knowledgeable and dependable, but also kind, approachable, and willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

What You’ll Do
- Review patient accounts to ensure billing information is accurate.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
- Work with insurance companies to resolve coverage and reimbursement questions.
- Maintain accurate patient records while following HIPAA requirements.
- Communicate with providers and team members to clarify billing or patient information.
- Help patients with billing questions in a friendly, patient, and professional manner.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Stay informed about changes in billing regulations and coding practices.
- Provide occasional front desk coverage during vacations or staff absences.
- Pitch in when needed and be a positive, dependable part of our team.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous medical billing or related healthcare experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical office procedures, insurance, and medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Friendly and confident communication skills.
- A helpful, positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently while also enjoying being part of a team.
- Someone who is dependable, flexible, and willing to learn.
- Medical billing or coding certification is a plus, but not required.
