Asphalt Luteman

Overview

• Spread and level hot asphalt using a lute (asphalt rake) behind paving machines.

• Adjust asphalt depth to meet grade specifications and ensure a smooth, even surface.

• Fill low spots and correct surface irregularities.

• Work alongside the paving crew, roller operators, and equipment operators.

• Check slopes and drainage to ensure proper water runoff.

• Assist with cleaning and preparing surfaces before paving.

• Follow all job site safety rules and traffic control guidelines.
