Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various cranes, including 23-ton, 55-ton, and 115-ton cranes, to lift, move, and position heavy machinery and materials on job sites. Safety, precision, and efficiency are essential in this role. Wage DOE - Periodic reviews
Responsibilities:
- Operate 23-ton, 55-ton, and 115-ton cranes to lift and move materials, equipment, and machinery according to job site requirements.
- Participate in Rigging / Millwright deployments that involve forklift, gantry crane and other specialized tools / equipment.
- Be involved in maintenance and repair of Pro Lift equipment by adhering to a strict inspection method and helping in shop projects when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards during crane operations.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections of the crane to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Secure loads and perform rigging tasks to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials.
- Work closely with the team on the job site to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Adhere to project timelines and schedules, completing crane operations efficiently and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of all crane operations, including lift plans, daily logs, and maintenance records.
- Monitor and adjust crane operations as necessary to ensure load stability and safety.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including maintenance and service requirements for the cranes.
Position Requirements:
- Current state issued Commercial Driver License (Class A is a ) candidate will be required to obtain.
- Current crane operating license (NCCCO or NCCER). Candidate will be required to have one of them.
- 2 or more years of operating hydraulic cranes is a
Skills Required:
- Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Prompt on time daily
- Communication with dispatch and operations manager
- Use and understanding of IPhone apps for dispatching and communication.
