We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized BookKeeper / Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure efficient administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial concepts, with experience in managing accounts payable and performing clerical duties. Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient administrative support.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment approvals.
- Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping practices.
- Utilize QuickBooks for tracking financial transactions and generating reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Handle 10 key typing tasks accurately for data input and financial documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and operational efficiency.
- Support budgeting processes by providing necessary financial information and analysis.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Bookkeeper / Office Manager or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
