This is a full-time, on-site role in Milwaukee, WI for a Skilled Fabricator Welder. The professional will undertake day-to-day responsibilities such as reading blueprints, performing welding tasks, and operating various manufacturing tools and equipment. Key duties also include ensuring the accurate fabrication of stainless steel and carbon steel parts, conducting quality checks, maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area, and collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing teams to meet project specifications effectively.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and spot welding
- Understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
- Experience fabricating with both stainless steel and carbon steel
- Ability to operate metalworking tools, such as grinders, drills, saws, and press brakes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure quality and precision in work
- Good organizational and time management skills for prioritizing tasks effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training in welding or fabrication is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment
- Prior experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication and expertise in food and beverage equipment fabrication is a plus
