Dental Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist across a variety of clinical procedures. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 3 years of experience as RDA.
• Provide chairside assistance during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas in compliance with infection control standards
• Take, process, and maintain high-quality dental X-rays while adhering to all safety guidelines
• Accurately document patient information and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Assist with patient flow, appointment scheduling, and treatment coordination
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
• Take vital signs and assist with dental imaging as needed
• Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care for pediatric patients
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations

Qualifications & Skills

• 2–3 years of experience as a chairside Dental Assistant
• Proficiency with OpenDental software
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols
• Experience in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
• Ability to maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and clinical best practices
• Experience with 3D dental scanners is a plus
• Knowledge of medical coding is an advantage
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
