What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Press Operator position at Pro Clean Dry Cleaners?
We are looking for two dry clean/shirt laundry pressers. You will operate a press/steam machine and iron clothing. No prior dry clean experience required.
Responsibilities
- Operate drying cleaning and pressing equipment to press and finish garments to specified standards.
- Sort, inspect, and prep garments for pressing; handle fabrics with care and follow care labels.
- Perform dry cleaning procedures, including solvent handling and machine loading/unloading.
- Maintain clean and organized work area; manage laundry and garment finishing tasks as needed.
- Monitor machine operation, report malfunctions, and adhere to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Provide courteous customer service when interacting with clients or staff and assist with basic cashiering or cash handling if required.
