Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments to identify issues accurately.
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites, providing technical support for industrial machinery including HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and other specialized equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory.
- Assist with welding tasks, including welding techniques when required for repairs or fabrication projects.
- Collaborate with customers to deliver excellent service, explain technical issues clearly, and recommend effective solutions for ongoing maintenance needs.
Experience
- Proven experience working in an industrial mechanic or industrial electrician role within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance of hydraulic systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage), and mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and control diagrams used in troubleshooting complex machinery.
- Experience operating field service equipment such as scissor lifts and understanding of HVAC/R systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking is preferred.
- Ability to interpret electrical measurements using ammeters and ohmmeters accurately.
- Prior military experience or background in industrial maintenance roles is advantageous due to discipline and technical training received.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively diagnose issues and communicate solutions clearly in English.
