- Escort clients to appointments or social activities
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist in medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of caregiving systems and practices
- Familiarity with ADLs and providing direct support to individuals in need
- Understanding of patient care principles and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely, using proper body mechanics
