What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Defense Attorney Needed (Freelance, Remote) position at Private Office?
We are a boutique lawsuit defense law firm based in New York City. We protect clients in a wide variety of cases, including personal injury and premises liability. We need an attorney to help us out on a freelance/of counsel basis. Right now, the primary responsibility will be drafting litigation budgets and reports for the insurance company, but there may be other opportunities to step in as other professionals on our team need additional help. ** You should be able to independently research verdicts and come up with recommended settlement figures based on the extent of the injuries and the facts of the case. **
This position requires at least 5 years of full-time equivalent experience working in insurance defense law. New York candidates are strongly preferred.
