This is a full-time, in-person position offering a chance to work alongside highly respected attorneys and take on meaningful cases at the federal, state, and local levels.
What You’ll Do
- Handle a variety of criminal defense cases from start to finish
- Draft legal documents, conduct research, and build strong defense strategies
- Represent clients in court for hearings, trials, and negotiations
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the firm’s continued success
What We’re Looking For
- JD from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice in New York State
- 2–3 years of experience in criminal defense
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent communicator and team player
- A portable book of business is a plus, but not required
Compensation
- Associate Level: $125,000 – $140,000
- Additional earnings available for attorneys with origination or portable business
