Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
- Contract Term: September 1 – June 30
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience
About the Role:
This position will begin as a floating assistant teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, with a clear pathway to transition into a lead teacher role based on experience and performance. It's a wonderful opportunity to grow within a supportive and collaborative school community.
Qualifications:
- AMS, AMI, or MACTE-accredited Montessori Certification for ages 2.5–6
- Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience in a Montessori environment
- Bachelor's degree in any field (Early Childhood Education preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- A genuine love for children and a deep commitment to their growth and development
- Patience, compassion, and a warm, nurturing presence
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and comfortably engage with children at floor level
- Candidates must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent and punctual attendance.
