Opportunity Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant – Background Screening to
support our day-to-day office operations and background screening services. This role is ideal for
someone who enjoys structured work, clear processes, and being a trusted support partner to
internal teams and clients. You will receive training on all compliance-related processes and work
closely with experienced team members in a collaborative office environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
Key Responsibilities:
• Background Checks & Drug Screening
o Coordinate and assist with processing background checks and follow up on results with clients and
applicants
o Coordinate and assist in conducting drug screenings for candidates
o Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations
• Administrative Support
o Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage incoming/outgoing mail
o Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
o Assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
o Provide general support to the administrative and HR teams
o Client interaction
o Assist with special projects and events
• Marketing Support
o Assist with social media content creation and scheduling
o Help prepare marketing materials and presentations
o Update website content and company profiles as needed
Work Environment & Schedule:
• In-office position based in Melville, NY
• Hours – 9 am-5 pm – Monday – Friday OR 10 am – 6 pm – Monday-Friday

Educational/License Qualifications:
• Preferred but not required - associate or bachelor’s degree (business/marketing, criminal
justice related majors).
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) REQUIRED
• Pass a background check (including fingerprinting) and drug test REQUIRED
• Prior experience in an administrative or office support role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities (team player)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools is a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Salary:
The Salary range for this position is $36K-$38K commensurate with experience.
This is the lowest to highest rate which we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the
time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may
be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on
several factors including, but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, qualifications,
certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or
organizational needs.
