Job Overview
Looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to help with regular household cleaning and light dog care in a private home. This would be a good fit for someone who enjoys keeping a home organized and clean and is also very comfortable around dogs.
Responsibilities may include:
- General household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms, kitchen cleaning, dishes, and tidying
- Laundry and changing/washing household linens
- Preparing dog food and feeding the dogs
- Refilling and cleaning food and water bowls
- Letting dogs in and outside throughout the day
- Supervising the dogs while they are inside and outside
- Cleaning up after the dogs and keeping their areas clean
- Washing dog bedding, blankets, and other dog items
- Occasionally bathing the dogs as needed
- General upkeep related to having multiple dogs in the home
- Watering household plants
- Other light household tasks as needed
No dog walking is required.
Ideal candidate:
- Comfortable and confident around dogs
- Reliable and able to consistently work Mondays and Wednesdays
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in keeping a home clean
- Able to work independently
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, pet care, or dog-sitting experience is a plus
The ideal person is dependable, comfortable working independently, thorough with cleaning, and very comfortable around multiple dogs. Previous housekeeping, pet-care, dog-sitting, kennel, veterinary, or similar experience is a plus.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
