Private Eyewear is a locally owned optical providing affordable and fashionable eyewear to the Newark community, And the Jersey city community open six days per week, Monday - Saturday. Our mission is to help you look and feel your best. Here at Private Eyewear, we encourage multiple pairs of eyeglasses for different lifestyle and wardrobe needs. Our company is run by a licensed Optician that has been in the industry for over 15 years.
Private Eyewear has expanded to Jersey City and is seeking an Optician/Sales Associate with 3 years of industry experience to join the team.
How you will make a difference as an Optician/Sales Associate:
- Help achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients’ specific needs and desires
- Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their visual needs as well as lifestyle preferences
- Order frames and lenses from vendors
- Assist with frame adjustments and repairs
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise

- Optical skills and sales experience is required
- Comfortable working with the public
- Have an eye for fashion and style
- Strong customer service skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance patient relationships
- Computer literate
- Quick learner
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
