We are seeking a hands-on, people-focused HR Generalist to support our fast-paced distribution center in Baltimore. This role is critical in delivering day-to-day HR operations while fostering a positive, safety-first culture. You’ll partner closely with local DC leadership and collaborate with an overarching HR support team.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
- Manage day-to-day HR administration for the distribution center
- Support employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, documentation, records management)
- Maintain accurate employee data and reporting within ADP (core HRIS/payroll system)
- Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws, policies, and internal procedures
Payroll & HR Systems
- Coordinate and process payroll inputs accurately and on time using ADP
- Partner with payroll teams to resolve discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations and payroll best practices
Benefits Administration & Compliance
- Administer employee benefits programs (enrollment, changes, terminations)
- Serve as primary contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolution
- Support open enrollment processes and employee communications
- Lead and support ACA compliance and annual reporting requirements (e.g., 1094-C/1095-C)
Recruitment & Talent Support
- Lead hourly recruiting efforts for the distribution center
- Coordinate interviews, hiring processes, and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs in a timely manner
- Support broader recruiting initiatives as capacity allows
Employee Relations & Day-to-Day Support
- Act as a primary HR contact for employees on-site
- Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
- Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
- Partner with leadership to address performance and employee relations matters
Health & Safety
- Promote and support a strong safety culture within the DC
- Partner with leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Participate in safety initiatives, training, and incident follow-up
Cross-Border Collaboration
- Work closely with HR team for alignment on processes and best practices
- Support broader HR and recruiting projects across the organization as needed
