We are seeking a Test Technician III to join our team. In this role, you will troubleshoot and test production printed circuit boards, identify faulted components down to the component level, and submit for re-work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly skilled in electronic testing, and able to work independently while supporting multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify faulted components or manufacturing defects on production printed circuit boards and submit for re-work.
- Adhere to all ESD requirements and board handling procedures.
- Follow Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL).
- Read, interpret, and react to schematics for troubleshooting.
- Perform functional and boundary scan tests on production PCBs.
- Must have RF experience.
- Run software backups, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on tester control computers; clean viruses or fragmentation when necessary.
- Support production test operator training and certification programs.
- Participate in test process and test station improvements, efficiencies, and safety initiatives.
- Create detailed test reports documenting results and findings.
- Interface with cross-functional departments and, occasionally, customers.
- Utilize Clarity application to track yield and troubleshooting data.
- Train production test debug technicians as requested.
- Support corporate and site 6S objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional overtime.
Qualifications:
- AA/AS Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of related experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level.
- Experience operating test equipment such as HP 3070, Genrad, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Prefer experience with amplifiers and attenuators.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of supporting 3 product lines or customers.
