What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at Private Client Fiduciary?
We are an agency that supports vulnerable adults who need help with their finances due to age or disability. A Financial Manager will collaborate with Care Managers to coordinate and support the various needs of our very special clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight (Primary): Manage budgets, cash flow, bill payments, reconciliations, and government benefits. Prepare court filings, tax returns, and estate reports.
- Client Setup: Review reports, gather documents, secure property, and establish budgets.
- Asset & Property Management: Oversee real estate, vehicles, and personal property; ensure insurance coverage.
- Estate & Trust Administration: Execute estate plans, manage distributions, and communicate with beneficiaries.
- Client Advocacy: Coordinate with care managers, attorneys, and agencies to ensure client safety and financial security.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High credit score
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (field of study flexible)
- Minimum 1 year of financial experience
- Experience with trusts and probate administration
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
- Life experience and flexibility in handling diverse client needs
