Receiving Associate

               RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Shipment Verification: Cross-reference incoming freight with bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders to confirm exact quantities and product condition.

·         Unloading Deliveries: Safely unload incoing freight, boxes, and pallets from deliver trucks.

·         Quality Control: Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies; process returns or vendor claims as needed.

·         Inventory Tracking: Log receipts and update stock quantities in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

·         Material Handling: Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move products from the receiving dock to storage.

·         Staging and Storage: Label, organize, and store goods systematically so they are readily available for order fulfillment.

              POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

•          Bilingual (English and Spanish)

•          Prior warehouse, retail logistics, or inventory tracking experience is preferred

•          Accurate and precise attention to detail

•          Strong written and verbal communication skills

•          Willingness to learn new tasks (including using our ERP system and gaining a basic to moderate understanding of our embroidery process)

•          Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize

•          Positive attitude and assist team members when needed to accomplish team goals

•          Highly organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment

•          Self-directed and able to work without supervision

•          Self-motivated and a problem solver. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Education: High school graduate with 2 to 3 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass background check

·         License or certification as dictated by the state to operate heavy machinery is a plus.

• Experience: At least 2 to 3 years extensive warehouse experience
• Tools of the trade: Standard office equipment and industrial machinery (forklifts, hydraulic loaders)
• Physical Demands: Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (required for moving boxes, cycle counts, inventory, and assisting other departments)
