POSITION SUMMARY
The Receiving Associate will be responsible for handling/moving/documenting raw materials, finished goods, and inbound freight in the warehouse. They will utilize their PIT operation expertise and receiving experience to efficiently unload trailers in inbound as a receiver.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
- Dock receiving and MHE operation experience.
- Experience with RF scanners.
- Understanding of AirLife receiving procedures.
Skills & Abilities:
- Basic math and computer skills required.
- Attention to detail and being able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to maintain a friendly relationship with coworkers, customers, drivers, and the general public.
Level of Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience of 2 years is preferred.
- At least 1 year of certifiable experience operating stand-up reach trucks.
Level of Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Travel
As the business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unload incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition, ensure accurate documentation of received goods.
- Instruct new receivers on how to properly receive shipments.
- Safely operate forklifts in a busy warehouse environment.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and stand on your feet for long periods of time.
- Effectively communicate with leads, supervisors, and managers on priorities for the day.
