HR Generalist I

Description

• HR Generalist I at client location provides intermediate-level support, managing employee relations, compliance, and talent initiatives across multiple sites.
• They handle investigations, benefits administration, recruitment support, and ensure compliance with employment laws (EEO, OSHA, AAP).
• Candidates typically need several years of experience, a degree, and strong HRIS knowledge.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Employee Relations: Conducts investigations, counsels employees, and provides guidance to managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Compliance & Reporting: Maintains records, ensures compliance with federal/state/local laws, and handles EEO-1 reporting. Benefits & Payroll: Facilitates benefits administration, including enrollments and annual renewals.
• Talent Acquisition: Supports onboarding, job postings, and recruitment efforts. Unemployment claims management - both FL & GA, Insurance bill audit experience
• Policy Implementation: Updates and interprets company policies, ensuring consistency across the organization.
  
  

Qualifications Experience: Requires 2-5 years of progressive HR experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, OR related field preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems, strong knowledge of labor laws, and excellent communication skills.

Physical: Often requires the ability to travel between client locations.

Common Requirements High level of confidentiality. Ability to work independently in a team-based environment .Adherence to safety protocol
