We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual English/Spanish Tax Office Assistant.
This vital role involves providing exceptional administrative support within our tax office, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering outstanding customer service to clients and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and possess strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Tax Office Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining an organized office environment while assisting with clerical duties, client interactions, and office management functions.
Office Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative and clerical support to the Accounting & Taxes team
· Receive, process, and file paperwork, invoices, bills, correspondence, etc
· Oversee daily communication and answer client questions and queries
· Ensure client information, payments, and records are complete and accurate
· Organizing client documentation, reconciling financial records, and preparing supporting schedules for accurate and compliant Tax filings
· Schedule client appointments and meetings and keep track of deadlines
· Create and maintain accurate client records and accounts
· Maintain positive relationships with clients and provide the Accounting & Taxes team with relevant information
Office Assistant Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a similar field
· Relevant accounting certification or previous working experience is preferred
· Experience in Quick Books is a plus.
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Bi-lingual (English-Spanish)
· Demonstrates organization and time-management skills.
· Detail-oriented
Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
Work Location: In person
Salary : $17 - $20
