Job Summary
The Mgr-Home Infusion RN provides clinical, operational, and administrative leadership for the home infusion nursing program. This role oversees nursing staff, ensures regulatory compliance, manages quality outcomes, and collaborates across pharmacy, intake, and operations to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered home infusion care.
Essential Functions

- Provides leadership and supervision of home infusion nursing staff including hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and corrective actions.
- Oversees clinical practice standards and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinates with pharmacy, intake, and operations to manage patient starts and staffing models.
- Ensures appropriate nursing assessments, care plans, documentation, and patient education.
- Monitors quality metrics, adverse events, and lead performance improvement initiatives.
- Identifies and addresses clinical barriers to home infusion therapy initiation, escalating complex cases or concerns to leadership or medical providers as appropriate.
- Supports business development efforts by building and maintaining relationships with hospitals, clinics, physicians, and referral partners, serving as a clinical resource to promote home infusion services. Participates in budgeting, staffing plans, and strategic initiatives.
- Develops staff through training, competency validation, and professional development.
- Participates in quality improvement and performance initiatives related to home infusion clinical services, contributing clinical insight to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports.
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Experience - Three (3) years RN experience. Two (2) years in related nursing area preferred. Nursing Management/Supervisory experience preferred.
- In lieu of the BSN requirement above, a nursing diploma or an Associate degree in Nursing may be considered if the applicant signs a Memorandum of Understanding agreeing to enroll in an accredited BSN or MSN program within one year and obtain a BSN or MSN degree within four (4) years.
- Holds a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working.
