Working as an Accounting Clerk you can expect the following:

• Process accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare cash receipts for processing
• Maintain customer and vendor records
• Compute and record numerical data
• Check the accuracy of business transactions
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Perform data entry and other administrative duties as assigned
• Demonstrate good problem-solving skills
• Develop and maintain business relationships with your (really awesome) coworkers within Prisma
• Provide input on forming Prisma best practices (we LOVE collaboration and input!)
• You will help us build a stronger company. Every single day.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Enough About Us! Candidate Qualifications:

• Degree in accounting preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting is required
• High proficiency in Excel required
• Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
• Experience with sales and use tax a plus
• Experience working in the printing or manufacturing industry a plus
• Ability to interpret information quickly and react to situations
• Must have exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Must be well organized and a self-starter
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must possess high attention to detail and be a proven multi-tasker
• Must have a strong work ethic, a professional attitude, and be reliable
• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable.
• You operate with a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy. We are a fast-paced company and need people who can manage our high volume!
