Perform tooling maintenance related activities, including, but not limited to the following:
- IQMS (ERP Software) Preventative maintenance file setup, including frequency, tasks and skill level required for all tooling.
- IQMS (ERP Software) System updates, including; running updating total units and running system work orders on a daily basis as well as inputting completed tasks, historical events and studies.
- Administer System to assure timely closure of emergency/priority works orders and system generated work orders including communication of the completion back to the originator for notification and approval if required.
- Communicate with Program Management to get toolmaker supplied suggested maintenance on all new tools. This will then be used to help establish the initial tooling PM tasks/schedule.
- Communicate with tooling supplier to reach a timely resolution of tooling failures.
- Tooling Maintenance (Molds and Secondary)
- Maintain Production Injection Molding Tooling to Support Customer Demands and Dimensional Requirements.
- Assist Plant with Trouble Shooting Tooling Related Concerns, Being Part of a Corrective Action Team that Root Causes Tooling Related Failures.
- Communication with plant scheduling to determine timing for in-house preventative maintenance and outsourced repairs and improvements for all tooling.
- Obtain competitive bids for repair and project improvement sourcing decisions. As well as, coordination or shipment, project tacking and completion.
- Assist with Managing a Critical Spare parts inventory system based on historical data.
- Assist with the order of replacement parts and spare parts, as required based on predictive trends.
- Assist in the training of Junior personnel.
- Capable of following safety rules and policies.
- In depth knowledge of using measurement devises to confirm tooling detail compliance.
