About the Role
Lead the design and development of automotive lighting systems (interior & exterior) from concept to production launch.
Responsibilities
- Define system requirements, specifications, and validation plans aligned with regulations and vehicle targets.
- Manage supplier RFQs, technical evaluations, design reviews, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate CAD design, packaging, optics, and CAE activities for proper integration and performance.
- Own DFMEA, DVP&R, test plans, and quality documentation for lighting systems.
- Ensure compliance with global automotive lighting regulations and standards.
- Manage cost, weight, timing, and quality targets for components and subsystems.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and pre-production validation.
- Collaborate with electrical, body, manufacturing, and quality teams.
